The Relationship of Time & Space
My deep passion for organizing and order began with cleaning out closets and labeling storage boxes. It is no surprise that I love The Container Store. I also love having a daily To Do List. Nothing motivates me more than this little checklist. Sometimes I even write a task I already completed on the list, just so I can check it off! (That’s a little embarrassing to admit!) I love calendars, planners, and making lists of any kind!
But what does all this passion and obsession about having things organized have in common? Time and space. That’s what I love to do! I organize time and space and want to help others do the same.
I believe that when we bring some kind of order to the time and space in our lives, we create for ourselves a life we love.
Many people have difficulty with managing their time and spaces because for some reason we think these concepts are limitless. We put off doing things today because we think we always have tomorrow. We keep buying more things because we think we can fit it in our closets.
However, in reality time and space are limited. There are only 24 hours in a day and you can only do the tasks that fit within that time frame. A closet has only so much square footage and only a certain amount of clothes will fit inside.
When we organize our time and space by clearing out and prioritizing, we free ourselves from unimportant tasks and clutter. We become more focused on what we love to do and keep only the things we love to have.
The result? A life YOU love.
